The night before my best friend disappeared at 16, she gave me $5 and said, “I owe you money. Take this bill!” It seemed random at the time, but I put it in my jar without thinking much about it. Three weeks later, I suddenly remembered and opened the jar. When I looked at the bill closely, my blood ran cold. She had written a tiny message on it in blue ink: “No matter what happens you will stay in my heart.”
Chills went down my back. It could’ve been just a note between friends; however the timing felt strange. I hurried to show the police but nothing came of it. Ten years have passed since then; although they never found her not a single day goes by without me thinking about that bill wondering if it meant something deeper.
When I was around 13 years old we lived in a two-story house. I don’t recall what exactly I was doing when I heard my dad calling from upstairs! When I called back there was no answer so as I walked toward the stairs to check things out; glancing outside into our driveway revealed that his truck was gone—he wasn’t home!

A few years ago during early teen days; i had this dream about a man on a beach flying kites with two dogs running around him! A month later while on vacation in France we were at another beach when suddenly—I looked up to see that same man flying his kite with those same dogs again! Visiting grandpa’s grave for first time—a golden retriever appeared from nowhere sitting beside me resting its head on knee as i sat next to grave—when leaving turned back & dog vanished!! Rationally speaking just some dog not connected but part of me likes believing he came say goodbye.
Couple years ago woke up middle night decided get drink found little brother staring down sink drain—asked him what he doing & he said “They’re coming.” He was sleepwalking so took him back bed!
Had lucid dream where watched figure looking through bookshelf patting head before leaving woke up hearing news from flatmates someone entered house through unlocked door during night… That’s when decided invest lock bedroom!
My phone is Droid—you unlock by pushing power button sliding lock across screen placed phone sleep mode went brush teeth thought about top five drummers randomly trying rank John Bonham based off ‘Good Times Bad Times’ drum part being awesome.
After brushing returned room & phone blared ‘Good Times Bad Times’ on Pandora—no idea how happened!!
Once tried calling grandparents couldn’t remember if last digit number 7 or 8 guessed wrong guy picked up—not grandpa apologized saying wrong number then he asked “Is that (my name)?” Creeped out replied “…yes? Who are you?” He laughed saying “You don’t recognize voice do you?” froze minute before hanging up still have no clue who he was or how knew me.
One time home alone woke bloody nose walked over tissues filled bin before going back bed next morning bin empty thought must’ve been dream until walking bathroom washing face…my nose started bleeding again!!
Changing clothes room age sixteen saw flash window didn’t think much until realized wasn’t raining week later woke unmistakable sound breathing window called out heard running jumping over gate thought maybe crazy till mom confirmed hearing weird noises backyard—we moved month later still unsure who they were!
