Sandra Bullock’s son, Louis Bardo Bullock, came into the world in 2010, and his arrival changed everything for her. He has grown a lot since the Oscar-winning actress adopted him as a little one.
Sandra mentioned that Hurricane Katrina made her think about adoption five years before she split from ex-husband Jesse James in 2010.
As reported by Parenting, the Blind Side star “did wonder [to herself], ‘Maybe not,’ but she ultimately chose to adopt when ‘Katrina happened in New Orleans.’” In June 2018, Sandra shared with a newspaper, “Something told me, ‘My child is there.’ It was strange.”
In 2015 Sandra adopted Laila Bullock as her second child after Louis. Later that year she started dating Bryan Randall who is a photographer based in Los Angeles; together they have built a beautiful family.
An insider revealed in May 2021 that “they have really become one big loving family.”
Sandra noted that while her daughter is “fearless” and ready to do amazing things in life; her son has a different perspective. Louis is often called the Golden Globe winner’s “78-year-old son,” which she explained back in May of 2018.
Lou is very sensitive according to Sandra; “When I see him I’m reminded of comedian Shecky Greene.” He’s smart and caring too! When they gave him to me I could see it right away—he had this spiritual glow about him! I prayed not to mess it up.”
In an open chat on Red Table Talk with Adrienne Banfield-Norris and Jada Pinkett Smith back in November of twenty twenty-one; Sandra confessed sometimes she wishes her kids had skin like hers.
“I’d say there are times when I wish our skin tones matched.” It might make people feel more comfortable around us,” says Bullock adding how it feels similar being mom to both white or brown-skinned kids.”
Since Louis and Laila came into her life Sandra has focused on being their mom so much that she’s not worried about how she’s raising them anymore! The long-term couple’s relationship is said to be better than ever!
“He completely loves Sandra and the kids,” said an insider! The children have been calling Bryan ‘Daddy’ for ages now which always makes him smile.” Luckily for this star Bryan really cares for both Louis and Laila too!
