The challenges that Bruce Willis and his family are facing have been highlighted by the actor’s recent announcement about his dementia diagnosis. Many fans, who have admired his work for years, feel saddened by this news. However, the Willis family stays strong and supportive of each other during this tough time.
Recently, Tallulah Willis, Bruce’s daughter, shared her experience working with a luxury silk brand called Kumi Kookoon in an interview. Although her father’s health wasn’t the main focus of their talk, it naturally came up.
Tallulah mentioned that every visit with her dad is different so she has to prepare herself mentally. “I’ll go see my dad and spend some time with him,” she said.
She approaches each visit with an open heart and makes sure she is emotionally ready because she knows how unpredictable things can be. “I’ve taken steps to just be there,” Tallulah explained about being present for her father. She also noted that he is doing okay given the circumstances: “He is doing as well as he was last told which I think is good.” Still, some days are tougher than others; Bruce’s family stands by him at every moment.
Tallulah has also been diagnosed with autism. She finds comfort in weighted blankets which give a cozy feeling while designing them: “And as I learn more about my autism and sensory issues I find that weighted feeling really unique and safe.”
The determination of the Willis family to support one another through these hard times is inspiring. Despite what dementia may bring into their lives, their love and unity shine brightly like a guiding light.
As they navigate this journey together let’s keep them in our thoughts showing we care!
