People typically have something to say any time Melania Trump shows up on the scene. This includes when she stepped on Capitol Hill on March 3 with a unique and striking fashion choice.
The first lady was there to support the Take It Down Act. It is a bill that targets AI-generated deepfakes and nonconsensual explicit images. It was her stunning tan Ralph Lauren three-piece suit that really got the majority of the attention.
The suit was finished off with a black tie and nude heels. It also included straight trousers and a fitted vest. You could tell that the First Lady was very confident that day with what she was wearing.
The people are reacting about the suit very quickly but it was also her hair that added to it as well. It wasn’t long after she showed up on the scene that her outfit started drawing the attention of commenters.
Others said that her fashion choices were spot on.

Beyond the fact that she was very fashionable that day, her presence on Capitol Hill also was for a demanding purpose. She spoke on the act, saying how important it was to protect young people from being exploited online.
She said: “Every young person deserves a safe online space to express themself freely, without the looming threat of exploitation or harm.”
After a nonconsensual explicit image is flagged by victims, the bill would kick in and give 48 hours to have the image taken down by tech companies.
