Many individuals who work as handymen find their job quite fascinating. They never know what challenges they will face each day, and sometimes, they might even encounter a surprise or two.
One thing any repairman would agree on is the importance of paying attention to the instructions given to them.
If you ignore the directions, you could end up in a tricky situation. The repairman in this tale found himself in quite a pickle.
Laura’s dishwasher stopped working, so she called for help. Since she had work the next day, she told the repairman, “I’ll put the key under the mat. Please fix my dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter and I’ll send you a check.”
“Oh! And don’t worry about my bulldog Bob; he won’t bother you. But whatever you do, do NOT talk to my parrot! I repeat: do not speak to my parrot!”
When he arrived at Laura’s place the next day, he saw one of the biggest and meanest-looking bulldogs ever! But just like Laura said, Bob just lay there on the carpet watching him work.
The parrot was another story; it drove him crazy with its constant squawking and insults.
Finally unable to hold back anymore he shouted “Shut up you dumb bird!”
To which that pesky parrot responded with “Get him Bob!”
