Following a major health scare from COVID-19, Al Pacino is taking more time to think about his own d3ath.
At least that’s what RadarOnline says, claiming the legendary actor has recently changed his focus and seems to be ‘haunted’ by thoughts of d3ath.
On October 8, the 84-year-old published Sonny Boy, a book where he shared his past struggles with drinking and the terrifying experience of almost ding.
A source mentioned that Al is aware he might not have much time left. Lately, he can only discuss his mortality and memories from the past.
“Writing this memoir has really brought everything to the front of his mind. After nearly klled by Covid it’s all he can think about,” they said.
They concluded: “But it’s impressive that he is still working — and plans to keep going until he drops.”
In a recent chat with the New York Times, Pacino revealed that in 2020, he almost di:ed from Covid. He mentioned feeling “unusually not good” at home with dehydration and fever.
Pacino stated that after calling for help, he suddenly lost vital signs.
“I was sitting at my house then I was gone. Just like that. I didn’t have a pulse,” he explained.
He claims to have woken up minutes later surrounded by doctors and paramedics in protective gear (“like they were from outer space or something,” he added).
“Everyone thought I was de:ad,” Pacino told People Magazine. “The nurse said, ‘I don’t feel a pulse on this guy.’”
The Scarface star will turn 85 next year and recently admitted he’s finding it hard to accept getting older.
“When I style my hair now and go out for pictures, all you see is like a white hydrant!” the actor joked with CBS.
“A white fire hydrant! I don’t feel gray yet. I do not want to be gray. I’m still the guy on my book cover.”
