Breaking News: Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin talks about a new romance, divorce, and running for Congress.

Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor is ready to move forward with her life.

After 30 years of marriage, she divorced Todd in 2020 and is currently dating retired New York Rangers player Ron Duguay.

In a new interview with The New York Post, Palin calls her divorce “earth-shattering.”

“It was the most earth-shattering, bizarre thing I could have ever imagined, and it kind of remains so,” she said in an interview with the Post.

In 2019, Palin stated in an interview that she learned about her husband’s divorce file via an email from his attorney. They have 5 children together. However, the former pair appears to have moved on, with Palin telling the Post that Todd “spends his time with his girlfriend, whom he’s had for some time now.”

On the other hand, Palin appears to have moved on, focusing on her new relationship with Duguay, 64, who was formerly married to supermodel Kim Alexis.

Palin told the source that the friendship began after an old acquaintance, Duguay, sought advice on her defamation case against The New York Times.

The lawsuit was eventually withdrawn, but her connection with Duguay, which she characterizes as “safe and comfortable” grew. During the trial, Duguay was her tour guide in New York.

“In my spare time, he would walk all over the city of New York and show me what he and the Rangers used to do, or at least where they used to do it.”

Additionally, Palin told the Post that “Ron is the first person I’ve ever even talked to about a lot of this personal stuff.” So it’s been good and stimulating to have Ron to talk to about subjects other than politics because he has more common sense than the collective in Washington.”

Also, Duguay has shown strong support for Palin’s congressional campaign. The former Alaska governor revealed that she will run for Congress, trying to replace the seat long held by Rep. Don Young passed away in March.

Palin released a statement announcing her candidacy for the U.S. House seat representing Alaska. She had already gotten former President Donald Trump’s support.

It would be a privilege to represent Alaskans in Congress, as Rep. Young did for 49 years, since public service is a calling. I understand that I am taking on a very big role, but since I share Rep. Young’s enthusiasm for Alaska and the United States of America, I plan to uphold his legacy by giving my life to serve the state he cherished and battled for.
