Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars

An easy, layered dessert loaded with buttery crust, gooey caramel, and rich chocolate.

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup caramel sauce

1 cup chocolate chunks

1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine  flour, brown  sugar, and melted  butter until fully mixed.

Press the mixture into a greased baking dish to form a crust.

Bake the crust for 10–12 minutes, or until lightly golden.

Remove from oven and pour the caramel sauce over the hot crust.

Immediately sprinkle chocolate chunks and optional nuts over the caramel.

Return to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes, until the caramel bubbles and the chocolate melts.

Take out of the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top. Let them melt slightly, then spread if desired.

Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Recipe Notes:

You can use store-bought or homemade caramel sauce.

For extra crunch, add chopped pecans or walnuts.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
