The 76-year-old star played his last show at Stockholm’s Tele2 Arena, marking the conclusion of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, a journey that enchanted millions around the globe.
Looking back on his career during the emotional finale, Elton shared his heartfelt thanks to his fans. “Words can’t really express how incredible my journey has been,” he said before finishing the concert with “Your Song” and “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.” “For 52 years, I’ve been fortunate enough to make music and perform live but none of it would’ve happened without you. You supported me, bought my albums and filled my shows with energy. Performing has been my greatest joy.”
