Missing Dinner for Baby: My Husband Forgot to Save Me a Plate!

With changing diapers, breastfeeding her adorable baby, and calming him to sleep, she hardly had time to eat anything.

It was her‍ mother-in-law who was meant to handle‍ dinner, so Jenna ‍thought at least‍ she wouldn’t be stuck in the kitchen. But one‌ evening, after putting the baby down and heading downstairs, she saw there was no food left ⁣for her.

Her MIL said, “Well, you⁤ didn’t come down so we figured ⁣you weren’t hungry.” Those words hurt more than Jenna’s actual hunger.

Things got worse when John didn’t respond to his mom’s comments. He told Jenna to clean up and wash the dishes since he claimed she wasn’t doing anything anyway.

Jenna felt so hurt that‍ she finally chose to ⁣confront John and his mom. ⁢But they ⁣accused her of being lazy and started yelling⁣ at her.

Unable to stand ⁢how they treated her anymore, Jenna grabbed some clothes for herself and the baby then went over to her mother’s house.

John called often demanding that she say sorry to his mom. ‍He couldn’t see how much stress his mother’s presence along with his lack of support affected Jenna.

She felt‍ heartbroken and couldn’t find a way out until she thought about reaching out to someone in the family who always made sense; her father-in-law.

After contacting him, he had⁣ no idea what was happening but offered ⁢support saying he would take her⁣ back ‌home.

When they arrived at Jenna’s place, they⁢ found John and his ⁣mother watching TV together⁢ laughing.

He⁢ turned towards his wife saying, “That’s enough. You’ve caused a lot of trouble it’s time you go home. You are not ⁢staying with John or Jenna anymore.” The MIL didn’t argue back.

Then he faced John telling him he‌ needed ⁢to be more ‍supportive of his‍ wife who just gave⁣ birth five weeks ago. Feeling ashamed, John agreed.
