Evacuation Orders: Know Your Zone for Safety
The following counties have issued evacuation orders:
Charlotte County: Mandatory evacuation is required for residents located in Red Zone-A, Orange Zone-B, as well as those living in mobile homes.
Citrus County: A mandatory evacuation will commence on October 8, 2024, affecting all residents residing in campers or structures unable to withstand winds exceeding 110 MPH.
Collier County: A voluntary precautionary evacuation is now effective immediately for all residents within Zones A and B—including areas west of Airport Pulling Road and south of US-41 Tamiami Trail E—and includes mobile home occupants.
Dade County: Residents are advised to evacuate from Zones A (Red) and B (Orange), particularly those living in mobile homes or low-lying regions prone to flooding.
