Savannah Guthrie has issued another emotional public message as the search continues for her mother, Nancy, who has been missing from her Tucson, Arizona home for more than two weeks.
In a recent video appeal, the TODAY show anchor asked anyone with information to come forward, while also speaking directly to those who may know what happened.
“It’s been two weeks since our mom was taken,” Savannah said. “We still have hope, and we still believe.”
She added a heartfelt message directed toward anyone involved or anyone with knowledge of her mother’s whereabouts: “It’s never too late to do the right thing. You’re not lost or alone. It is never too late to do the next right thing. Bring her home.”
Savannah emphasized her family’s belief in compassion and humanity, saying they continue to hold onto faith during the difficult time.
Investigation Updates
Nancy, 84, was reported missing after disappearing from her home in the early hours of February 1. Authorities have since been actively investigating, following several developments.
According to investigators, a glove containing DNA evidence was recently recovered in a field about two miles from Nancy’s home. The FBI stated that the DNA profile belongs to a male and appears consistent with gloves worn by a person seen in surveillance footage near the residence.
Earlier, officials released doorbell camera footage showing a masked individual approaching Nancy’s home and appearing to interfere with the camera system. After forensic review, investigators estimated the person to be approximately 5’9″ to 5’10” with an average build.
Local law enforcement has described the individual as a key focus in the investigation but stressed that they are continuing to explore all leads.
Health Concerns and Public Appeal
Authorities have also shared that Nancy was not in strong physical health at the time she disappeared and requires medication, increasing concern for her well-being.
The FBI has increased the reward for information leading to her safe return to $100,000, urging the public to share any tips that could assist the investigation.
Ongoing Hope
Despite the uncertainty, Savannah and her family continue to speak publicly in hopes that someone will come forward.
Their message remains simple and heartfelt: hope remains, and any information — no matter how small — could make a difference.
Anyone with credible information is encouraged to contact local authorities or the FBI tip line.
