Single Mom of Four Gets Used Car, Owner Says Check the Trunk When She Gets Home

A single ‌mom of four little kids decided to buy a second-hand car so she could get⁢ to work. The previous owner asked her to check the ⁢trunk‌ when she got home.⁢ What⁣ she⁤ discovered inside would change her life⁣ forever.

Jennifer ⁣was a single mother of four young children after her⁤ husband Adam left when he found out ‌about⁣ their fourth baby on the way. “Another ⁤mouth to feed? No way! I’ve had enough!” he shouted one day, leaving⁣ their trailer and filing for divorce.

Jennifer felt heartbroken. She ⁢and Adam didn’t plan⁤ for this pregnancy, but she thought he⁤ would support her ⁣during ⁢such a tough time, especially‍ since they were already struggling financially.

After they separated, Adam stopped sending money for⁢ the kids. ⁣He ⁣claimed he was unemployed ⁢and that no one⁣ would hire him because he didn’t finish ‌college.

Soon after giving birth, Jennifer had no choice but to find ⁣work since money for food, diapers, and milk was running low. She walked past‍ restaurants and shops but got turned down by owners ‌because of her four small children.

“It’s‍ hard to hire moms with little ones because something always comes up,” one‍ employer told ‍her directly. “Your kid might be sick or you have no one⁣ else to watch them; it’s just too much trouble.”

With no⁢ luck in their neighborhood, Jennifer ‌started looking in a nearby city. With what little cash she had left, she ‍took a cab ⁣ride and‍ asked neighbors if ‌they could look after her ‌kids for the afternoon.

When she⁢ arrived there, Jennifer saw an opening for housekeeping at a ‍local hotel. She went in, applied right away & got hired instantly! “We really need help here with summer coming up,” said the HR manager.

Desperate for any job at all , Jennifer accepted even‍ though⁣ it ⁢meant traveling every day to another city . After spending almost $30 on cab fare ,she‌ realized commuting daily wasn’t possible . It’d be better if she ⁤had her own car ,but funds were ⁢tight . Her best bet was getting an affordable used car .

She found one but wondered if the owner would sell it ⁢cheaper . ⁣“Could you possibly let me have this car for $5000? I’m raising ‌four kids alone & ⁣need transportation,”she explained⁣ .

When the owner learned about‌ how hard ⁤things were as⁣ a single‍ mom with four young ‍ones ,he ⁤agreed on selling it at ‌that ‍price .“If‌ you can pay by tomorrow ,I’ll give it to you,”he said .

Jennifer felt so thankful that he lowered his price! She took some risks & applied for bank loan hoping she’d get enough cash by‌ next day.Unfortunately due bad credit history, the loan request got ‌denied immediately!

Running out of options‌ now,Jen thought carefully about what ⁢step next. She couldn’t move cities ⁣since oldest child Ethan just ⁤started school near where they lived.Rent elsewhere cost more than what she’d afford plus taking trailer along wasn’t possible either!

She desperately needed wheels not only go back forth from work but also pick up kiddos from school/daycare too. Then suddenly remembered family ⁢heirloom left ⁣behind by late mother -a gold chain necklace passed‌ down generations.Tears ⁢filled eyes thinking about selling it yet⁣ knew providing long-term ⁢care mattered most!

Taking necklace from trinket box,she headed towards nearby pawnshop.“Sorry ‌Mom,I really⁢ must do this now”she whispered softly upon arrival there. The⁤ necklace⁣ valued at $5500 made Jen‌ overjoyed! ⁣That ⁢amount covered buying car plus extra funds available daily needs⁣ too!

Next day,she ⁤returned dealership handing over envelope containing $5000.“Thanks so much sir,you don’t know how ⁣much‌ this helps‍ my family”she expressed⁤ gratefully while giving him payment envelope .

The owner⁣ introduced himself as Jeff smiled back saying,“Congrats on your new ride. This is ⁤great deal.”

While signing ⁣paperwork Jeff quietly placed something inside trunk ⁣before ‍calling ‍out as Jen prepared drive home.“Oh hey, dont forget check trunk once arrive back.I left surprise gift⁤ your kiddos!”waving‍ goodbye⁣ before driving‍ off into distance

Since‌ purchasing vehicle,Jen ⁤became busy commuting working, taking children school/daycare‍ completely forgetting checking trunk until finding note glove‍ compartment later on.”Hope y’all ⁣enjoy ‍gift I put inside trunk.May help greatly” Surprised, she opened trunk‍ searching gift eagerly

At first confused seeing only white envelope tucked away side then realizing same envelope used earlier payment opened revealing‍ untouched⁢ $5000 within!!

Tears streamed down face overwhelmed kindness shown.Jennifer rushed straight back ⁣dealership ‌thanking Jeff profusely.”Life throws challenges our way;it’s up ⁢us rise above or fall apart.I⁣ admire strength ⁤shown caring those babies,”Jeff advised gently,”Just remember pass kindness forward!”
