Since inheriting the throne in September 2022, King Charles has not enjoyed a single moment of tranquility. Aside from being diagnosed with cancer in January early 2024 and preparing for the coronation last year, William has spent a significant amount of time dealing with the emotions surrounding his son, Prince Harry.
For years, the Duke has lashed out at his royal family, and while King Charles is said to wish to reunite with him despite their disputes, other people are also involved. He has scarcely seen his cherished grandchildren, Prince Arhcie and Princess Lilibet, and is thought to be saddened.
Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, recently visited Nigeria on a three-day tour to champion the Invictus Games, which Harry founded. However, the trip reportedly left King Charles and Harry’s brother, Prince William, furious. Now, the king could make a drastic decision: strip Harry of all titles because of what he did during the Nigeria visit.
For years, the relationship between Prince William, King Charles, and Prince Harry has been strained, and they are said to only communicate when absolutely necessary.
Prince Harry flew to the United Kingdom shortly after King Charles’ cancer diagnosis was announced. Some rumors stated that he may return to royal duties if everything seemed good; nevertheless, if William decides to do so, it is out of the question.

In February, William and his father met at Sandringham, where a source told the Mirror that there is “no chance” the future king would allow Harry to ever return to royal life.
“Whatever has been discussed between William and the King is private, but it is absolutely and categorically clear that he (William) would not allow Harry to return. He thought it was a bad idea at the time and he’s even more clear now,” the source said.
When Prince Harry returned to the UK to briefly see his father, the royal expert stated that William had “got used to Harry being rude, unkind, and attacking his wife.”
Meanwhile, it’s well-known that Harry had issues with Camilla as a teenager. In his book Spare, he portrayed her as an alienating figure within the royal family. He also gave her quite the cruel nickname, the “other woman.”
Camilla was alleged to be hurt by Harry’s remarks. But, as her husband is currently undergoing cancer treatments, and Harry has briefly returned, she refuses to back down.
According to a National Enquirer insider, as reported by the Mirror, Harry left Camilla “outraged” and requested him to leave.
“Camilla has taken it everything on the chin, but portraying her husband’s sickness as a ‘loving son’ PR gimmick was the final straw. After the father-son meeting, I understand she informed Harry he’s a disgrace to his father, family, and the monarchy, and she made it clear he’s not welcome again,” the insider claimed.
Even though Harry’s relationship with his royal family is at a low point, the family will always be family. King Charles hasn’t seen his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, for a long time, and the Sussexes don’t plan to visit soon.
King Charles & Prince William “furious” over Harry & Meghan’s Nigeria trip
Harry and Meghan might have said a lot about the royal family. Although members of the Firm have had strong feelings about it, what happened a few weeks ago appears to have exacerbated the conflict between the Sussexes and the Royal Family.
Many people were startled when Harry and Meghan visited Nigeria for three days in mid-May to advocate the Invictus Games, which some regarded as a ‘royal’ visit.
Harry and Meghan also met with wounded soldiers and their families, and the three-day trip was a huge success. However, the Nigeria visit is sparking different reactions in the UK. According to a royal insider speaking with the Mirror, King Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton are “furious” about Harry and Meghan’s trip.
The royal expert told the Mirror that the Prince and Princess of Wales are not only angry with Harry and Meghan Markle. Moreover, he suggests that the couple fears that their nightmare has come true.
“William is absolutely furious and determined to find a way to stop this happening in the future. Charles is said to be angrier than anyone has ever seen him,” Quinn told the Mirror, adding that William is upset that the Nigerians “treated Meghan and Harry as if they too thought this was an official tour.”

“It’s as if Harry and Meghan have gone rogue—their journey to Nigeria is a bold statement about their refusal to accept that they are no longer working royals. William and Charles are scratching their brains, wondering, “How are we going to control this nightmare situation?”
The royal expert concluded that Harry and Meghan Markle were welcomed in a way that included all the elements of an official royal visit. Quinn said the Sussexes’ speeches in the African country “gave the impression that they are still fully paid-up royals.”
“For Charles and William, it’s as if Meghan and Harry are saying, ‘We don’t need your permission to be working royals – we will do it on our own terms whenever and wherever we like,’” Tom Quinn told the Mirror.
King Charles and Prince William might not be able to do anything to stop Harry and Meghan from traveling like, in their opinion, they are royals. However, a new claim suggests that the king has an ace up his sleeve.
